q. You have parties on your website. How is this party different and can I have the additional things like mask making with his package?
Yes – We do offer different party packages on our website. They are the parties that the studio hosts year round. For us to work with Swarmjam and offer the incredible pricing of $89.00 we had to make changes to our standard packages.
q. How is this party package different?
The package is different by: additional 30 minutes use of the decorated party room. You can have 30 minutes prior to the dance class for your refreshments and the last 30 minutes for cake and presents. We then made the package for 10 children where our packages start at 8 children. You can still customize this package by purchasing your choice of: mask making, karaoke or face painting. When you purchase the mask making, karaoke or face painting you will also have an additional 30 minutes of party time. You party will be 2 hours and 30 minutes instead of 2 hours.
q. My daughter wants to invite one more child to the party. Is there an additional charge?
Yes – There is an additional fee of $50.00 for one to five more children.
q. Why is it so expensive to add one more child? I don’t want to have five more?
We have a fixed fee for an additional one to five more children as the instructor is provided with a host to assist them. Also with the additional one to five more children you will need to provide one more adult to assist you with your refreshments.
q. My daughter wants to invite seven more children to the party. Is there an additional charge?
Yes – There is an additional fee of $100.00 for six to ten more children to participate**
For each additional 1 – 5 more participants we provide the instructor/host with another host. An additional Parent/Guardian of the Party Host Boy/Girl is required to serve and distribute all refreshments at the ratio of 1 Parent/Guardian for each 5 children. (Example for 20 children 6 Parent/Guardians are required to attend service and distribute all refreshments.)
q. Your ad says that the decorations will be in yellow/gold and black. My child’s favorite colors are purple, pink and yellow. Can we have those colors for decorations?
Yes – We charge an additional $20.00 to change our decorations of: plastic table clothes, paper streamers and balloons that hang from the ceiling.
q. $20.00 seems expensive. I can purchase everything at the dollar store much cheaper. Can I do that and have you put them up?
Yes, you can also purchase the decorations you prefer. However, for us to put them up we will charge you $20.00. You can put any decorations up you would like. However, you will have to put them up within the 60 minutes allowed for your refreshment time to alleviate any additional charges for the extra time used over and above the 2 hour maximum booked for your event.
q. I have looked at your website and see that you have other party activities available. What would be the charges for the additional activities you offer?
Yes, we do have more activates available. We have selected several of our most popular activities with preferred pricing to compliment the Swarmjam promotion.
q. Do you think boys as young as 6 would like a dance party?
Yes – we have our regular dance classes where boys as young as 5 years old are taking hip hop classes.
q. What days do you have your birthday parties on?
We are a fully operational dance & music studio offering classes 6 days a week from Sunday to Friday. At this time we have set aside Saturdays from 12 noon to 8pm and Sundays 1pm – 3:30pm to accommodate the parties. We will do our best to work with you regarding your requests for days and times of your parties. There are also days and times during the week including Monday to Friday from 11are to 3:30pm that might be a consideration for your party.
q. Do you have blackout dates where we cannot book any parties?
No we do not have any blackout dates. But the dates and times are subject to availability.
q. It says that there will be additional charges for more adults other than the 2 required for a party of ten children. What would the extra charges before?
Yes we do charge an additional fee for adults that want to be part of the party. The additional fee is to have the party moved to a larger room to accommodate the adults. We will provide: table & chairs for each adult based on the additional fee paid. The additional fee is $10.00 per person that is pre registered. A fee of $15.00 will be charged for any unregistered guests that stay for the party.
q. Why can’t the adults just hang around?
Yes, any adults that want to sit in our lobby while the party is in progress are permitted to do so. However, your party may not be the only event going on at the time. We are a fully operational dance and music studio, so there could be other classes, rehearsals or rentals going on at the same time. We cannot guarantee that seating will be available for your guests. Several adults may want to video the event, however, we do not encourage and allow too many adults to stay in the dance studio while the instructor is teaching and working with your children. From our experience, adults do distract the children and can make it difficult for the instructor to keep their attention and their participation when other people are interrupting their concentration.
q. I would like to extend my party for an additional 30 minutes. What would the charge be?
The additional charge to extend your party will depend on how many people you have attending your party.

q. Do you have a limit of how many children and adults can come to the Swarmjam party deal?
Yes – for any parties in excess of 60 additional guest s and children your SWARMJAM coupon will not be accepted
q. How do I book a party?
To book a party you need to purchase a coupon from Swarmjam. The coupon will have your confirmation number. We will require the HST & 15% gratuity for a total of $25.53 ($10.68 & $14.95) to be paid at the time your party is booked and confirmed. The $25.53 is nonrefundable.

-Face painting - $5.00 per child – includes 30 additional minutes of room rental

-Disco Ball $25.00 – for 60 minutes – to be used with dance instruction
Bonus offer: Take all three Party Favors: Face painting, Mask Decorating, Karaoke for $12.00 per child for a maximum of an additional one hour and 30 minutes.
(Example: up to 20 children with additional Bonus offer of 3 Party Favors - $100.00 (additional for up to 10 children) & $120.00 (for additional Bonus 3 Party Favors) for a total of $220.00
Terms and Conditions
Dancin’Stars reserves the right to refuse redemption of any SwarmJam coupon that does not comply with the SwarmJam promotion as advertised.
Party Packages are as described – no substitutes allows
-specific party room is supplied for the refreshments and present opening. Space is limited in the party specific room for refreshments+. Two Parent/Guardians of the Party Host Boy/Girl is required to serve and distribute all refreshments. Plastic bags will be available for any discarded disposable utensils, cups, plates etc. and is the responsibility of the party’s parents or guardians to pick up and clean up any and all foods and deposit them in the plastic bags provided.
MAXIMUM NUMBER OF PARENTS/GUARDIANS OR OUTSIDE HELPERS NOT EMPLOYED BY DANCIN’STARS ALLOWED ASSISTING IN THE PARTY IS 1 PARENT PER 5 CHILDREN UP TO A MAXIUM OF 4 ADULTS TO ASSIST WITH A PARTY FOR 10 CHILDREN. ANY ADDITIONAL PERSON OR PERSONS PARTICIPATING IN THE PARTY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO VIEWING, DANCING AND EATING WITH THE BIRTHDAY PARTY GROUP AND WITHIN THE TIMES RESERVED FOR THE SPECIFIC PARTY WILL BE CHARGED AN ADDITIONAL FEE OF $10.00 PER PERSON*****. Our studio is sensitive to the needs and allergies of some people. Peanuts can be a deadly for some people, so we do not allow peanut products to be brought into the studio.

***if specific music is required – a minimum of 3 days advanced notice is required by the Dancin’Stars to research and obtain music requested. If we are unable to find the music requested you can send us the music via email – dancinstars@shaw.ca prior to the day of your event.
-the choreography provided is for “entertainment” purposes only. It is not to be used in part or as a whole for competitions or other performances. The choreography is the property of the instructor and Dancin’Stars and not authorized to be duplicated or performed in any venues.
-Package does not include taxes or gratuity. Taxes will be due and payable upon confirmation from Dancin’Stars of the mutually agreed date and time of your event. Taxes will be based on the cost of the basic package or on the total amount of the package booked and confirmed. The gratuity is 15% and will be based on the total package and is payable at time of booking when taxes are paid.

General Rules for all Daily Jams
There are rules or limitations that apply to all vouchers sold on SwarmJam, unless one or more of the ones listed below are over-ridden in the Know Before You Buy section above:
• Each voucher can only be used once and the voucher value must be used in one visit.
• No cash back for unused portion of voucher (unless required by applicable law in your jurisdiction).
• Gratuities are not included in the value of this voucher; please tip on the prediscounted value of service.
• Applicable taxes are additional and will be charged upon redemption.
• Cannot be used with other discount coupons or promotional offers.
The face value of the vouchers may be applied to the full value of your bill, including in the case of restaurants alcoholic beverages unless excluded in the Know Before You Buy section above.
